NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a vacancy has occurred in the Office of Mayor of the Borough of West Pittston. Any registered elector interested in filling the vacancy and who is at least 18 years of age and has resided within the Borough continuously for at least one year immediately prior to the individual’s appointment shall submit a written letter of interest and resume to Borough Council at 555 Exeter Avenue, West Pittston, PA 18643 or by email to secretary@westpittstonborough.com , no later than November 5, 2020.
Interviews of the applicants will be conducted on November 10, 2020 starting at 6:30 pm. to be held via Zoom due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. The public may participate and comment via the following invitation:

At the conclusion of the interviews Borough Council will convene in Special Session to consider appointing a new Mayor to fill the unexpired term of former Mayor Thomas Blaskiewicz which expires on January 1, 2022.
