PUBLIC BUDGET VIRTUAL MEETING NOTICE


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough Council of the Borough of West Pittston at meeting held on Tuesday, December 1 , 2020 introduced on first reading and adopted the Tentative 2021 General Fund Budget in the amount of $4.196,573.89 and the Sewer Maintenance Fund Budget in the amount of $640,000.00.  The Proposed 2021 Operating Budget  is on file and available for public inspection and comment at the Office of the Borough Secretary, 555 Exeter Avenue, West Pittston, Pennsylvania, during regular office hours of 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. prevailing time, Monday through Friday (except holidays).  The Tentative 2021 Operating Budget is also available on the West Pittston Borough Website, www.westpittstonboro.com.

The Tentative 2021 Budget shall be considered on the second and final reading, along with public input and with any amendments by Borough Council, and presented for final adoption at a Virtual Meeting to convene on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 6:30 P.M. prevailing time.  The public may participate by dialing in at  6:30 pm using the following phone number, 1-844-855-4444.  The Access Code is 1504199.  Borough Council will also entertain any other business, which may lawfully come before them.
